Recent Raffles Grand Dangkor Review: "My husband and I stayed in Siem Reap for 4 nights in order to see the Angkor temples. We were so pleased we chose the Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor! This hotel and its staff are outstanding. It's situated on the periphery of town yet within easy reach of everything. The colonial past is apparent everywhere you walk within the hotel but it has been updated to exceptional standards. The concierge arranged a wonderful English-speaking guide (ask for Tec!) and a driver for us on short notice, since we didn't want to make plans in advance due to our jetlag. The pool is gorgeous, the spa spotless, the staff incredibly attentive and so friendly, and the breakfast buffet is the perfect preparation for a day of visiting the temples...asian breakfast specialties to eggs benedict and champagne. It's also the perfect place to relax and have drinks in one of their fabulous cocktail lounges. I'm sure I've forgotten something...surfice it to say, a true oasis!! If only we could have stayed longer - we can't wait to go back."
